EXERCISE GUIDELINES

Introduction: Why exercise? Keeping your body physically fit is important because it is the machine by which you're able to sound those melodic notes from your instrument. Beethoven was known for taking long afternoon walks after composing (and of course, always carrying a pocket-notebook with him). The right kind of exercise will also prevent your body from developing unnecessary aches and pains as a result of spending long hours practicing throughout the week. Refer to the exercise guidelines below for instructions on how to get the most out of your cardio, strength, and flexibility programs.
