Introduction: The George Lynch lick (in "Heaven Sent") is derived from the F# Natural (a.k.a. Pure, Aeolian) minor scale of the Modal Scales. Notice the added b4 (shaded blue).

Legend
horizontal lines = strings (thickest line represents low E)
numbers = fret number
i = index finger
m = middle finger
r = ring finger
p = pinky
H = hammer-on (hammer your finger onto the note with the "H" written over it)
P = pull-off (pull your finger off the note with the "P" written over it)
T = trill (combination of hammers and pulls)
h = half step (one fret)
w = whole step (two frets)
/ = bend the string up as you sound the note
\ = bend the string up, then sound the note as you unbend the string
- = slide your finger from one note to the next
