SPEED DRILLS

Introduction: Speed drills derived from the major and minor pentatonic scales. The key to playing these drills with lightning speed is to form a barre across the treble strings (i.e., high E, B, and G) with your index finger. Use a metronome set at a comfortable rate (e.g., 60 bpm for beginners) and gradually increase the tempo while maintaining smoothness. Eventually, play each sequence in brackets 1 time instead of 4. Audition files are low quality MP3 format for faster download. For CD quality QuickTime format movie files (16 bit, 44100 Hz, stereo recordings) complete with Animated Tablature, click Download for your free product.
